Account

  • Account protection and security is a top priority for us. All data is stored in highly secured facilities and is never shared with anyone.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to ride with Gett. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Inviting friends who are new to Gett is easy! Here’s what to do:


      1. Open the app and tap ‘Free rides’.

      2. Tap ‘Invite Contacts’ and send an invite via text message to your selected friends.

      3. Have your friends tap the link in the text message, which will prompt them to download the app and create an account.

      4. Once they’ve taken their first Gett ride, you earn ride credit!

    You can also simply share your unique referral code, which you can find in the ‘Free rides’ tab. Make sure your friends enter your code in the ‘Coupon Code’ tab in order for you to receive free ride credit.


    The more friends you invite, the more credit you get (up to $1000).


    Note, the maximum amount of ride credit that you can earn from friend referrals is $1,000. Ride credits have an expiration date and any unused coupons will not be replaced.

  • Before you book your ride, enter your requests in the ‘Note to driver’ field. This will allow your driver to see your request. You can also call your driver directly.

  • To cancel your ride, tap the ‘Cancel Ride’ button in the app. Be sure to cancel within 5 minutes from when you ordered the ride in order to avoid a ride cancellation fee. For more details, please see our cancellation policy.

  • Call our 24/7 Customer Care team at 855-200-­4388 as soon as possible. While we will do our best to locate your lost item. we cannot accept responsibility for items left behind in vehicles.
