wo tech disruptors challenge status quo in marketing
Gett, the global on-demand company, today launched a sponsored filter on the new hit app Prisma.
Prisma is a free iOS app that transforms photos into stunning works of art using neural networks and artificially intelligent cloud processing. Since debuting in the Apple App Store in June, the app has quickly attracted millions of users and become a runaway success globally. Millions of Prisma-enhanced images are being shared on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook every day.
By launching a custom-made, sponsored filter on Prisma, Gett is challenging traditional approaches to marketing & brand awareness. Challenging traditions is the norm for Gett, with unique pricing models such as fixed fare black cabs in London and no surge globally, innovative features e.g. split payment, future bookings and groundbreaking services, Gett became the leading on-demand transportation player in Europe.
Beginning today, Prisma will offer the new “#GettUrban” filter, an urban scene in shades of grey, purple and yellow which transforms photos into Prisma-enhanced images that resemble drawings.
“Both Prisma and Gett are great examples of how even new industries can be disrupted through bold, innovative thinking and cutting-edge technology,” said Shahar Waiser, Gett’s founder and CEO. “We are therefore thrilled to collaborate with Prisma on launching the #GettUrban filter and hope that millions of Gett and Prisma consumers will use it to create memorable works of art.”
