  • The servers we use are world-class. All data is kept within highly secure facilities and is protected by extensive network and security monitoring systems. We do not share your data with anyone – everything is kept safe on our secure servers.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to ride with Gett. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

  • Invite your friends to join Gett and we’ll reward you with free credit. Tap the sweet icon in the app to share your unique code with friends and when they take their first ride using your code, you’ll get £10 credit. Your friend also gets £10 off the ride and the more friends you invite, the more you can ride for free.

  • Of course! All black cabs and Gett Taxis in London are wheelchair accessible, as our most of our cabs in other UK cities.. We’d always suggest to pop in a note to your driver on the booking screen or give them a call when your cab is en route to notify them, especially if you need help boarding. Disabled passengers can register for priority taxi bookings with Gett via the app assist-Mi, which is downloadble for iOS or Android.

  • Not at the moment, you can only request one taxi from a single account. If other people in your group don’t have the Gett app on their phone, you can invite them to download it from the menu. You’ll also be eligible for our Invite Friends promotion where new riders get money off their first ride and you earn credit towards your next.

  • Just fill out the ‘Note to driver’ field in the app before booking and your driver will see all of your requests once assigned. Feel free to give your driver a call if you’d rather speak to them directly.

  • If you really must, you can cancel your cab in the app using the ‘Cancel ride’ button. Cancelling your cab three minutes or more after your driver is already on the way, may incur a fee. For more details, please see our cancellation policy.

  • Don’t panic. Your past Gett rides and driver’s details stay stored in your ‘rides’ list, so you can easily give them a ring. If you can’t get through to the driver, you can call our 24/7 customer care team on 0207 788 8987 and they will try and help get your item back to you.

  • Our customer care team are available 24/7 to answer any questions and you can reach them on 0207 788 8987. You can also find this number by going to the menu in your app and selecting customer care, then tapping call.
